MAANZ education and training courses have been operated by the Association internationally for over 15 years. The Marketing Association of ANZ is a registered, not for profit body. Our primary aim is to help people and organisations understand marketing better and improve their knowledge and qualifications.
We are specialists in the field of marketing training and education
MAANZ courses have been specifically designed for adults who have other commitments and find it difficult to attend classes each week as well as for those living overseas.
The content is presented at a university level. It is accredited by the Marketing Association and the Marketing Council of Australia and is generally accepted for credits by colleges and universities.
The mode of study is by distance education.
We send you the course guides and, all the necessary notes (many subjects have Power Point lectures). Assessment is generally by written assignment, sometimes supplemented by questions.
Amount of Time Needed?
The course is presented at university level and requires some effort and time - but we have yet to find anyone who couldn't do it. The course has been presented for over 15 years and we have people from all over Australia and overseas doing it.
Fees
Each subject costs $250.00 - all inclusive
The fees involved cover everything - including a tutor assigned to assist you with questions
Contracts? We do not have course contracts. You need only commit to the subjects you are doing (e.g. one or two at a time is usual). If you do a Certificate - it is 4 subjects. But you do it one or two subjects at a time - your choice
Enrolment - You can enrol online and pay your fees by credit card (Visa and Mastercard) via a secure bank site.
Unique elements of the courses are:
- You can submit an assignment more than once to improve your results.
- You can start and finish as you need - you have up to a year to complete any subject
- If you need further notes to assist your study we can provide these (at no extra cost).
- You have up to one year to complete a subject.
- If you undertaken any previous marketing studies we will consider giving you credits - there is a fee for this assessment

Our Aims
The objective of these practical, professional courses is to provide quality education and training from the marketing perspective and positive attitudes towards continuing and further education.
Students should develop abilities to learn and apply new skills and procedures, capacities for problem solving and decision making, ability to communicate effectively, theoretical and practical professional knowledge in specialist areas and the ability to apply knowledge in a work setting.
These courses offer a unique opportunity for in depth study of specialist marketing topics, whilst at the same time, assisting students develop a wider appreciation and abilities in the areas of critical analysis and creative thought.
The aims of the course are as follows:
- to develop knowledge, skills and competencies to deal with the variables of marketing management in organisations that operate in complex and changing environments.
- to provide the student with an intellectually rigorous educational experience from within the context of a marketing and management environment.
- to provide the student with the appropriate learning environment which will foster the development of advanced skills in critical analysis and creative process.
- to equip the student with a range of managerial and marketing competencies, allowing graduates to make an immediate contribution on taking up full-time employment.
- to allow students to gain a practical experience of the marketing profession, and to be able to critically evaluate the methods of working within industry.
- to provide an interesting and stimulating educational experience for students undertaking the courses.
- to provide, sound, pertinent management (marketing) qualifications for people aspiring to, or presently holding, positions at middle to upper levels of management in private and public sectors;
- to expand the supply of professional managerial and administrative personnel conversant in marketing theory and practice.

Start and Progress at your own speed
Modular Structure
Subjects are divided into modules and are supported by a subject guide and full seminar notes, which are provided at no extra charge. In most cases a general study guide and marketing dictionary (on disk) are also provided.
Most subjects are supported by a monthly seminar, workshops and an individual tutorial system.
Teaching Staff
The program is managed and coordinated by the Registrar. The course employs only the services of the best industry qualified and experienced university level marketing academics as well as supporting marketing practitioners.
Recognition of Prior Learning
The Association recognises most previous learning and will offer Credit Unit Points towards the course applied for. Credits are based on the course undertaken and personal performance.
Applications for Advanced Standing or Recognition of Prior Learning, should be lodged with the Registrar. A fee of $50.00 applies for RPL assessment Applications must include transcripts of results and copies of relevant unit outlines for which the advanced standing is sought

Whilst the courses are certainly rigorous, programs are specifically designed and conducted to assist the individual succeed to their desired best level.
