Seven to do an Iron Chef

Separately, Seven has revealed it is going to produce an Australian version of Iron Chef, which became a cult hit on SBS when dubbed into English from Japanese.

Three of Australia’s top chefs – Neil Perry, Guy Grossi and Guillaume Brahimi – will become ‘Iron Chefs’ on the arena-style cooking competition series.

Production is set to commence in Melbourne next month. The format of the show sees ‘Iron Chefs’ compete against aspiring professional cooks in a battle against the clock to produce the best menu.
